CarLivre

Sources and method

Where the figures come from and what the drawing can tell you.

The figures

Each car is one model year, market and version. Every number comes from the maker’s own document, linked on the car’s page with the row it came from. A figure the maker does not publish is shown as not published, never guessed.

Widths are shown as published. Some makers say their width excludes mirrors; others do not say, and we note that beside the figure. A figure shown in the other unit than the maker used is marked “≈”.

How the drawing is made

Both cars are drawn at exactly the same scale from their published length and width. Fronts point up; your car is on the left. The shapes inside those outlines are illustrative, not the makers’ plan drawings.

Axles appear only where the maker publishes the overhangs; otherwise the wheelbase is given as a number. Width with mirrors appears only when both makers publish it.

Use it to see how two cars differ in size, not to check that a car fits a particular space. Measure the space and check the exact version you would buy.
